Getting Here

McMenamins Edgefield is located at 2126 SW Halsey St, Troutdale, OR — about 30 minutes east of downtown Portland. Portland International Airport (PDX) is the nearest major airport, roughly 15 minutes away.

Staying On-Site

We have reserved a room block with limited space on the premises. To reserve a room, please call the front desk at (503) 669-8610 and tell them "This is for the wedding of Leah Batterson" when making the reservation.

There will be rooms with a king bed option and a queen bed option. Please be aware these are individual bedrooms, but private bathrooms are available in the hallway.

Additional Places to Stay

Troutdale: If you are wanting to stay near the venue, one of the closest hotels is Best Western.

Portland: If you are wanting to stay near Multnomah Village where Leah and Jonas, and Jonas's parents live, the closest motel is Capitol Hill Motel.

There are many great additional hotels in downtown Portland. It is advisable to avoid hotels in the "Old Town" area.

Complimentary parking is available on-site at Edgefield. Please drive responsibly!

McMenamins Edgefield has a lot of fun activities on the premises — feel free to show up early and enjoy at your own leisure! Things to enjoy include:

Explore the Columbia River Gorge

Just minutes away, the Columbia River Gorge offers breathtaking hikes, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks. Crown Point and Multnomah Falls are not to be missed.

The Portland area has many fun amenities to see and do. Wander Powell's Books, stroll the Japanese Garden, lose an afternoon in the Pearl District — and make sure to get a delicious Voodoo Doughnut!

Formal. Men should wear a suit and tie, and women should wear a cocktail dress or floor-length formal dress. Please be aware that the wedding party will be wearing peach dresses and navy blue ties.
When you go to RSVP, you will be given the option to add a plus one — otherwise, the people specified on your invitation will be listed.
When you go to RSVP, you will have the option to choose your meal, which strives to accommodate all dietary restrictions.
Yes! We love our family and friends with their little ones and they are welcomed to attend ❤
There is parking available on site! Please drive responsibly.
During the reception there will be an open bar for 5 hours — from 5:00–10:00 pm. Before the ceremony and reception, there are bars and restaurants available on the property for you to enjoy at your leisure!
The ceremony will be outdoors, with the reception being indoors. Oregon weather in June tends to be around 70°F in the day and 50°F at night, so it should be comfortable for all to enjoy. However, please check the weather and plan to bring any layers accordingly.
For people living and staying in the Portland area, be aware it takes a minimum of 40 minutes to get to the venue. Please plan to leave at least an hour ahead of the time you wish to arrive, to allow ample time for parking and seating. In general, please plan to be ready at the ceremony site about 30 minutes before the start time.
Please be aware the McMenamins property is quite large! If you need help locating the specific ceremony location, you can ask for a map or help from the front desk and they will gladly point you in the right direction.
Taking pictures is encouraged!! Please take all the pictures you want — and make sure to share them with us afterwards!
